FAQs

Is the course free?

Yes. Our Study Programmes are fully funded for eligible learners aged 16–19, meaning there are no tuition fees to pay. Funding is provided by the UK Government through the Department for Education (DFE). Eligibility criteria apply, and our admissions team will be happy to discuss your individual circumstances.

What Qualifications do i receive?

The qualifications you achieve will depend on the programme you enrol on. Our courses include nationally recognised qualifications from awarding organisations such as NCFE, alongside employability, English and maths (where required), and industry-specific training. Successful learners receive certificates that are recognised by employers across the UK.

Do i need GCSE?

Entry requirements vary depending on the programme. Some courses require previous qualifications, while others are designed to help learners develop their skills regardless of prior attainment. If you have not yet achieved a Grade 4 (C) or above in English or maths, you will usually continue to study these subjects as part of your programme.

How many days per week do i attend?

Attendance varies depending on your chosen programme and timetable. Most Study Programmes involve regular classroom-based learning combined with independent study, practical activities and work experience. Your timetable will be provided before you begin your course.

Is work experience included?

Yes. Work experience is a key part of our Study Programmes. We work with a range of employers to provide valuable industry placements, helping learners gain practical skills, build confidence and enhance their CV before progressing into employment or further study.

What happens after i finish?

Our goal is to help every learner progress successfully. After completing your programme, you may choose to move into employment, begin an apprenticeship, continue onto a higher-level qualification or progress into higher education. Our careers team provides guidance and support to help you take the next step.

Can I progress onto an apprenticeship?

Yes. Many of our learners choose to progress onto an apprenticeship after completing their Study Programme. The skills, knowledge and work experience you gain will help prepare you for apprenticeship opportunities, and our team can support you in finding suitable vacancies with employer partners.
