END-POINT ASSESSMENT
How you’ll complete your apprenticeship
nce you have completed your training and are ready to progress through gateway, you'll complete an independent end-point assessment designed to demonstrate the marketing knowledge, skills and behaviours you've developed throughout your apprenticeship.
Project & presentation
You'll complete a work-based marketing project and produce a report before presenting your work to an independent assessor and answering questions about your approach, decisions and results.
Professional interview
You'll take part in a structured interview with an independent assessor, using evidence from your portfolio to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours you've developed in your marketing role.
Your KTA tutor will support you throughout your programme and help you prepare for gateway and understand what to expect from your end-point assessment.

How long does the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship take?

Do I need to already work in marketing?

This could include marketing, digital marketing, communications, campaigns, social media or other suitable multi-channel marketing responsibilities.
Can an existing employee do this apprenticeship?
Yes. The apprenticeship can be used to develop an eligible existing employee as well as someone recruited into a new role. Their job must provide appropriate opportunities to develop and demonstrate the requirements of the apprenticeship.
Is there an age limit?
There is no general upper age limit for an apprenticeship. Apprenticeships can support people starting their marketing career as well as existing employees who are developing new skills or taking on greater responsibility. Eligibility will be checked before enrolment.
What are the English and maths requirements?
English and maths requirements depend on the apprentice's age, prior qualifications and circumstances. KTA will review existing qualifications during enrolment and confirm whether any additional English or maths development is required as part of the apprenticeship.
How is the apprenticeship funded?
Apprenticeship training is funded through the apprenticeship funding system. The amount of government funding available and any employer contribution will depend on the employer's and apprentice's circumstances and the funding rules in place at the apprentice's start date. KTA will confirm the funding position before enrolment.
How is the apprenticeship assessed?
At the end of the training period, apprentices complete an independent end-point assessment. This is designed to assess how effectively they can apply the marketing knowledge, skills and behaviours developed throughout their apprenticeship.
What will I receive when I complete the apprenticeship?
After successfully completing the programme and end-point assessment, you will achieve the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship and receive your apprenticeship certificate.
