Involvement in the local community is of paramount importance to Knights Training Academy – we consider ourselves as a community business, committed to helping others.
At Knights Training Academy we believe that helping the local community is not just something we choose to do but is actually an important part of our business. We understand that local businesses and communities are closely linked and that we can have a significant impact as a whole.
As such, we have joined local project The Community Matters Partnership, working with many other socially responsible organisations to fundraise and volunteer for projects that benefit the community.
We have also established our own foundation – The Knights Foundation which sets about raising funds for charitable organisations.
Knights Training Academy plays an active role in contributing to communities both through direct financial support and through the support of our partners and employees who take part in activities organised both by the company and by themselves.
We also provide work placements and work experience for local students and support for educational establishments as and when needed. We place our emphasis on working with those from deprived backgrounds, the unemployed and low-income families.
Knights Training Academy supports a number of national and local charities giving both time and money. We encourage payroll giving and are staff are entitled to two days a year to provide time and advice free of charge to voluntary groups and organisations.
Our objective is to encourage our partners, management and staff to play a key and significant part in the development of local communities.
