Our History

Established in 2009, Knights Training Academy aim to deliver a diverse range of training solutions from work-based qualifications such as Apprenticeships and NVQ training to high quality short courses including First Aid Training, SIA Training and Assessor/Verifier Qualifications.

Knights Training Academy is committed to a policy of continuous quality improvement. This means robust, accurate and ongoing self-assessment which leads to real improvement in the quality of the learners’ experience and success.

We are holders of the matrix standard: a unique quality standard for organisations to assess and measure their advice and support services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.

Our Plans

As a national training provider, we are highly ambitious with an enviable reputation for hi-spec delivery.  At Knights, we think big and can point to a peerless track record of achievements. Knights were the sole training provider for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, proudly responsible for ensuring that over 70,000 volunteers played a key role in ensuring the triumph of the greatest sporting spectacle in this country’s history.

It’s not solely global events on the scale of the Olympics for which Knights are entrusted.  We work, for example, with local and national football clubs to deliver football Academy programmes.  Knights deliver bespoke training for small, medium and large employers to deliver the development necessary to ensure that businesses maintain vibrant, highly skilled competitive workforces.  Whatever we do, we do it well.

At Knights, we understand well the need to ensure that training is relevant, current and of the highest quality.  Our sister company, the Knights Group, employs well over 4,000 staff each of whom has progressed though the Knights Academy, following training programmes which inspire.  At the heart of our Academy is a deep commitment to inspire the workforce upon whom our success and futures depend.
